petra: Reads "Stay Inside, Stay Sane" until it runs out of space (Stay Inside Stay Sane)

This can be something recent, if you've only been inside on a regular basis recently, or something more long-standing if you've been indoors for a longer time.

We're allowed to travel for activity and people here have been very good about staying away from each other on the walking paths, so I've been walking or biking several days a week since this stare. It lets me get out, if only for a little while.

Well, I promised myself I would start playing video games from my backlog, and I would do so on Thursdays. I made that a goal two weeks ago, and yet I still haven't started, sigh.

Weirdly, I've mostly stopped reading fic since i got to my hunker-down place. I'm not particularly happy about it ... I've also stopped my habit of catching up on youtube late-night shows every evening, and thus the knitting I would do along with that. My podcast listening has also dropped off; I was obsessive about it for a couple weeks right after this began, but usually I listen during my commute and chores, and now the commute is gone and the chores are shared. I'm not sure what I've replaced that time with, but probably mostly phone app games, which isn't great. And I miss going to the farmer's market every week -- it's still happening, with restrictions, but I'm now states away from it, and we don't have a local one here.

But having people around has made me better about doing yoga every day.

It's good to be out of the house!

Oh hell yes! It's done wonders for my working out too.

Not ordering food from Uber eats once or twice a day like I used to pre-lockdown.

Started doing my Daily Views landscape paintings over at my journal, since soon after we were locked down. I plan to continue them until we reach Level 2, when the lockdown part of the restrictions will end.

I noticed today that I've done near to no crafting. This is partly because the morning commute is my crochet time (I get nauseous on the commute home, go figure).

I flirted with the idea of giving up caffeine. I lasted 10 days, got over the headache, and then realised that is actually necessary, and went back to drinking coffee for morning tea. Instead, I've given up sugary food at morning tea, and that seems to be much better (no longer eating my feelings).

Your daily views are so gorgeous! (Oh my goodness, those cherry blossoms almost made me cry at how pretty they are. <3)

Yeah, I think I've the time, but I don't have the brain space for crafting. Thanks to this discussion, I've moved a low effort task next to the bed, and have given myself permission to sit, watch youtube, and knit. I've done a few rows, but this has never been a quick finish project!
