I've recently signed up for Banned Together Bingo, which is about fighting censorship and writing stories to prompts that are the reasons works were banned.
Other than that, I am always on the lookout for more connection with people.
I'm captain of a team in Nerdopois, a crafting community for nerds/geeks on Ravelry (which is a knitting/crochet/weaving/spinning site). My team is all about games: board games, video games, Dungeons & Dragons, card games, etc.
Nerdopolis has been going on for six years now! Every month, you're given six challenges you can choose to fulfill. One challenge is chariry-related; another is for non-Ravelry crafts (anything other than the four mentioned above). The other four challenges are all yarn related.
For example, one of the challenges this past month was Constellations, so I knit a bunny amigurumi, inspired by the Lepus constellation. I then got an entry into a drawing for a prize, because I tied my bunny to my team (there are bunny monsters in Final Fantasy XI.)
It's a lot of fun! My team is always welcoming of new players, but if games aren't your cup of tea, there are other teams that would be happy to have you.
I'm doing intoabar, the crossover writing challenge, and am on a voiceteam team - it's about podficcing and related activities. E.g. I recently drew art purporting to be Steve Rogers' sketchbook (pics of Peggy) to make real some details in a podfic recorded by a team member (100 points!). Plus I'm doing some Big Bangs (McShep, Venom, and due South) but those date from before all this. Also fandom_checkin, as I live alone, albeit in a safe place.

fandom_checkin -- I've been participating in it, too.
