I was able to attend a party for a cousin that I would not have normally traveled far enough to attend, but which was online and so had people from all over the world at it.

I am working on online WisCon for next week, so I am up for hearing how other folks are finding the online con experience. I will put a post up on my own DW asking for comments.

I'm seriously considering attending WisCon. Because $10 (assuming US$, so more like $15) to attend something I didn't think I'd ever get to seems an easy choice. And yet I'm so tired that adding in something on a weekend seems too much.

Completely understandable. You can also register for free, which might make you feel better about only being able to do one or two things at the most.

Thank you. In the end I decided against it because the weekend got a bit overwhelming (we are in a low covid area, and things have just opened up a little bit -- Youngest had training, and partner and I had dance class, and and and)
