What are you looking forward to learning?

One of the benefits of staying inside and away from other people is how much time it gives us to work on that thing we kept saying we'd learn, but never did. What are you working on learning with your extra time?

I've been working on my German and have added a second stream of data, so now I'm working with both Duolingo and Memrise.

Oo, let me know if you'd like a practice partner sometime -- my German is *very* rusty as I have kept it up much less well than French, but it'd be fun to poke at it!

Mein Deutsch ist sehr schlecht! Ich kann nicht schnell sprechen (vielleicht nicht sprechen) oder gut hören. Ich denke, eine nachricht wie diese ist alles, dass ich schreiben kann.

Ja, mein Deutsch is auch nicht gut genug fuer echte Konversatzion (dass heist, fuer sprechen). Auch habe ich viele Woerter vergessen. Schade. Aber ich habe gern Fremdsprachen zu lernen und zu praktizieren.

(Als ich Deutsch und Franzoezisch lernte, gab es kein Google Translate -- auch kein World Wide Web.)

Als ich Spanisch und Franzözich lernte, gabe es kein Google Translate. Babelfish, ein bisschen, aber nie sehr nützlich wie GT oder meine Liebe, Wörterbuchen im Internet. Linguee.com hilft mir mit mein Deutsch, WordReference.com mit mein Spanisch. Es ist schwer zu glaube, dass wir haben ohne diese die Sprache gelernt.

So far, it is not really giving me much more time, but it's sure decimating my ability to focus. :(

Oof, I know that feeling too. I'm off work for the duration so I have oodles of time but my brain does not want to do the work I would like it to.

This is very proactive! I still have to work, but from home, but I need to work on a couple of things I don't know much about, including technical writing, so I'll be studying up on that.

I haven't been focusing on learning anything new, but I picked up an old hobby (riding my bike), since the roads have substantially less traffic and the risk of a car hitting me has declined concomitantly.

I vote that anything that increases your ability to get exercise under the circumstances is a good use of time. I've been taking a lot of walks, since I live in a relatively isolated place.
