How do you recognize and respect the days as they pass, while you are in a holding pattern?

It turns out that it is going to be doubly useful - we have been Informed that there will be some kind of auditing of whether people were actually working their specified hours or not, once we get back to the office (and there has been the pre-return pre-announcement, if that makes sense?)
