I have over 30K of exceedingly tropey sci-fi AU of Saiyuki written and posted as a project to keep me busy and not watching TV/youtube 24/7. I feel quite accomplished, as should you!

If I had one of those dongles that plugs into the brain and makes words on the page, I'd give you the Amazon link for it, but alas all I have are hands, and they get distracted.
Cats are very bad for my brain-to-computer interface's efficiency, let me tell you what. All it takes is a fuzzy creature near enough to stroke and the word count goes right down.
I have made more progress on reading Hugo nominated works than I had at the equivalent time point last year. I have also acquired several more books so that I can actually finish up several of the categories. Unlike last year, I am not attempting to get books from the library, so it is more expensive a task, but I'm in a comfortable financial position, and spending up at my local bricks'n'mortar store, so counting that as a net win.
