I really haven't done much around here - but at least I'm mostly keeping up on the little daily tasks, so the living areas aren't awful. for me, that's something.
since I rent, there's not much big I can do, and physically I'm not able to get up on a stepstool to hang pictures or stuff - and obviously my sister (who is my usual handyperson) hasn't been up in forever to help with some of those tasks
I cleaned my entire room! It took about four days, because in the process I unearthed a HUGE yarn tangle, and I wanted to salvage the projects attached to it.
So far I have mostly kept the room clean. We'll see how long that lasts. I have a high tolerance for messiness so I tend not to pick up after myself.
We have been rearranging (and cleaning, and decluttering) and hanging art is our office areas. Which, amazingly, my productivity is going up and I'm now sorting through my WIPs to see what I have and what I want to work on. In the process, I'm finding a few where I'm going, 'Oh, that's done except for title and/or minor editing', which is great. I'm also going, 'Nope, that's never getting done,' or 'cannibalize that for parts,' which also useful.
Mostly dishes, but also some sorting of herbs and spices. Also I started dividing a heap of clothes today into wash, hang up, and donate to charity piles. I should finish that task, and the laundry, by the end of tomorrow.
Organized various storage spaces. Mostly while on video chat with a friend; we do chores/crafts together and it's a nice way to feel like we're hanging out doing normal person stuff, and feels like there's less pressure to come up with things to say. Usually the result is that we have a pleasant conversation rather than the awkward "uh so how's your quarantine" kind of catch ups I've had with some people (there's a place for that; good to know how the quarantine is going! But sometimes it gets to be a cycle of worries).
Chore/craft buddies sounds like a great way to use the internet. I know I've had plenty of "How's your quarantine?" chats that could have been lighter if I'd been more distracted from having to have a conversation right then.
