I see a few coworkers when in the office two part-days a week, I talk with friends/family on the phone or by text, and I e-mail/comment on journals. I've also been sending notes via snail mail to folks
A mix of things - texts with people from work, phone calls with friends, and lots of cards/postcards to friends, which I send out with the feeling of putting a message in a bottle and tossing it into the ocean (i.e. dispersing them widely, with little hope of a response).
their offices are all upstairs, so coworker time is mostly in passing - but it's nice to chat for a minute with an actual person who's not in a drive-thru window
It's a work in progress - some days I wish people would write back, but other days I do better at thinking of it as a therapeutic exercise, like journaling but with a chance of connection.
Telephone and Zoom, mostly. Oh, and Facebook Messenger (computer only from my end because it opens security holes on mobile devices). I also attend an Alzheimer's support group via GoToMeeting through my local senior citizen center. And, sometimes I attend church by watching the service live on Facebook or later streaming on YouTube, but I try to attend safely in person now that I can.
