Probably to get tested, the first time, which was to the Center Of Town. AS the clinic was closed and its doorstep was adorned with a dead pigeon, the journey was not worth it.
I went to my parents', which is about 50 miles away, last month. Since then, I don't think I've even left the city limits. :( It's a sadly circumscribed life these days. What about you?
Down to the county hospital for a routine mammogram. I suppose it was worth it because everything checked out okay, but it was uncomfortable wearing a mask for several hours on a hot day, which really makes me sympathize with essential workers who need to wear them for an entire shift.
Glad to hear that everything is behaving itself and your mammogram went well. I've only been volunteering in 3 hour shifts which is a plenty long time to wear a mask; I share your sympathy for people who need to wear them for longer stretches.
Approximately 30 minutes, and, yes! I traveled to the Xfinity Mobile store to get my new phone set up because I'd already mailed my old one to Apple. At first, they told me they were only a retail store and weren't set up for customer service, but then the guy helping me called customer service and did what he needed to do to get my new phone working with the same number so I didn't have to change it with all the people to whom I'd given it! It took him approximately 45 minutes while I enjoyed watching a documentary on Ancient Egypt on the History Channel. Xfinity customer service is SOOOO much better than Comcast's was!
