Hm, yeah, I feel like we now are seeing blackberries in the farmers' market but the raspberries are already gone.

I have never been clear on the difference between a black raspberry and a blackberry. Maybe I've never seen a black raspberry?

Black raspberries, like red raspberries, are shaped like little thimbles or caps. Blackberries are more oval and solid, not concave.

Are black raspberries soft and squishy like red ones (as opposed to the...crunchier blackberries)?
