I'll be visiting my in-laws soon and that should be a good break from the everyday.

Getting this research paper finalized and submitted to a journal.

Leaving my job at the end of the month.

Going on a stay-at-the-cabin-and-don't-mingle country vacation with spouse and parents, assuming that's still advisable a month from now.

LARP writing meeting with my new partner/on our new project tonight. (Last night I met with the older partner on the older project and we had fun reminding ourselves about all our characters in progress and filling in new details. I wonder whether we will finish writing it before it's possible to play games in person again... The new project is an online game.)

I have no timeline on this, but getting my dad's recliner moved up here - that's complicated by things still being kinda locked down where I am, and the need to get movers lined up - and my mom's inability to get things organized on her end. but once it's here, I'm really looking forward to being able to get my feet up and relax more comfortably than my current furnishings allow. not holding my breath, but when it happens, it should be good

I'm going to ask a friend to teach me how to tank in our MMO, and I'm looking forward to spending time with her, even if it is just virtually.

Also, we are getting closer to Pumpkin Spice season! I always look forward to that.

I'm not coping with the cold this year. Seriously thinking about moving to warmer climes. Getting work will be the tricky bit, but partner retires in less than two years, so we could leave three adult offspring to look after the house and go somewhere as an experiment.

Spring is finally here! I saw the daffodils blooming early and really hoped it meant we'd have an early spring. Now there are flowers opening up everywhere and the sun is shining longer every day! My solar-powered ass is extremely happy.
